Cambridge University Botanic Garden (CUBG) holds a collection of over 8,000 plant species from all over the world to facilitate teaching and research. The Garden provides resources including plant material, horticultural expertise and facilities to research workers and lecturers and is just a 6 minute from The Lensfield Hotel.

Cambridge University Botanic Garden

A heritage-listed Garden, designed for year-round interest. Since its opening in 1846, Cambridge University Botanic Garden has supported University research, been an inspiration for gardeners, an exciting introduction to the natural world for families and a refreshing oasis for all our visitors.

Opening Times:

• February – March 10:00am – 5:00pm

• April – September 10:00am – 6:00pm

• October – 10:00am – 5:00pm

• November – January 10:00am – 4:00pm

The Garden is open to the general public. Walk ups welcome, pre-booking is optional.

We are open every day throughout the year except for Christmas closure.

Last paid admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
